Kinect will have its share of useless accessories

Well just because Kinect doesn't have any controllers doesn't mean it can't have useless things for you to buy that you don't need. As you can see from the above picture you will be able to get a tripod; that is the most useless thing that I have ever seen. The best part about that little tripod there is that it costs a mere $29.99.

There is a slew of random things that are coming the best by far is the 9 foot cable extension that costs $49.99. I don't know about you but cables don't cost that much to make. So I guess if you buy Kinect and for some reason your Xbox is 10 feet from your TV they want you to buy a $50 cable. Well I for one would just move my Xbox and Kinect closer but I don't think any one has that big of a gap between their TV, console, and Kinect.

Lost Planet 2 coming to PC

PC gamers that want to get their Lost Planet on will be able to do so on October 15th. Lost Planet 2 will be DirectX 9 and 11 supported, it will also be supported by NVIDIA's 3D vision and 3D vision surround. Copcom states that with DirectX 11 running "smoke will have lifelike volume and depth, water surfaces react realistically to player interaction and bullets, and level bosses are rendered with more detail than ever before."

If you want to give this a go you can download the benchmark HERE

Here are the recommended settings for an average computer that most likely doesn't have DirectX 11:

  • Windows Vista or Windows 7
  • Intel Core2 Quad/ AMD Phenom x4
  • 3GB or over RAM
  • 13 GB free space
  • 1280x720 resolution or higher
  • Nvidia GeForce 9800, ATI Radeon TM HD4800 (512mb RAM or higher)
  • Xbox 360 Controller for Windows

That's most likely the minimum since a 9800 is a little old these days.

Cargasm Announced

Candella Software and Saga Wonderworks have just announced their new upcoming game Cargasm. The game doesn't have any licensed cars, but what they do claim to have is the most realistic racing courses ever in a video game
They accomplish this by scanned all the courses for each area with lasers, which makes for all the buildings, streets, and anything else on the street accurate to within an inch or two. The listed sites that will be in the game so far are San Francisco, Yosemite National Park, London, Mount Kilmanjaro, Egypt, and Switzerland.
Cargasm will be available for PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, PSP, and iPhone. This is no release date set yet. More screenshots below.

PlayStation Move Accessories!

For as little of fun as it is to stand there and pretend to hit someone now you can do it in style with the new PlayStation Move ultimate boxing gloves. The Gloves feature a little pocket in each glove to secure the controller to make sure you don't go and start destroying TV's. They also went as far as to put Velcro straps on the wrists so you can't accidentally have gloves fly off your hands. These are made by CTA Digital.

As you can tell these gloves are still padded so in case that you still some how find a way to ruin your TV you can take your rage out on some near by person or small animal of your choosing.

CTA Digital also has this charger for your PS Move controllers. The dual port and quadruple charging ports can charge two to four move controllers.
