Microsoft, the new Activision?
In a recent interview with IGN, Microsoft Game Studios Corporate Vice President, Phil Spencer expressed that the wait between Halo games will be shorter.
"There's no explicit strategy that says we're to ship a Halo game every year. I will say I think one Halo game every three years -- which was kind of our old cadence is probably not frequent enough."
So basically watch out, we may have a new Activision in the making.

Updated dash to go with your Kinect
When Kinect launches the dashboard will be getting updated as well. It looks cleaner but we will see what Microsoft put on it to ruin that. There won't be any really big changes but you will notice it.

FireFall: possibly the best free-to-play game ever made
FireFall is the latest creation from R5 Studios. It's kinda like Borderlands meets Team Fortress 2. The game will be FREE to play from beginning to end but there are micro-transactions so that you can buy as you go along if you feel as though you need somethings that may help you. If your thinking about playing this you can sign up for the Beta at their site. http://www.firefallthegame.com/ The release is planed for sometime in late 2011, yes that is a long way off.

Portal 2 PAX Co-op videos
The co-op portion of the game will just be adding to the length of Portal 2. With co-op two players can go puzzle solving via internet, LAN, or split-screen. Each player will be controlling a test robot, armed with a portal gun. Just like in the single player the portal gun will shoot two portals, so that's a total of four portals between the two players. Well that's enough explaining here's some videos.

Microsoft's price increase for Live
Well Microsoft has made another dumb move by increasing the price for Xbox Live. I was actually planing on renewing mine but since I saw this I wont be, well Microsoft you just lost another customer. The main thing that gets to me the most is that they are raising the price for absolutely no features that I use. I got Xbox Live to play games online not to go on Facebook and not to use twitter if I wanted that I would go on to my computer not my Xbox. All I see them doing is adding in useless things and calling it the greatest thing ever, but the sad truth is that it's far from great. From now on I'll just be playing games on my computer which really is much better than any console even through I don't have the greatest graphics card ever. The main thing that the PC has is a better community, well the guys I play with are awesome anyway. I never run into that annoying ten year-old kid screaming at his mommy. Well, goodbye Microsoft it was nice while it lasted, you cheap bastards.
Here are the price changes that will be taking affect:

Kinect will have its share of useless accessories
Well just because Kinect doesn't have any controllers doesn't mean it can't have useless things for you to buy that you don't need. As you can see from the above picture you will be able to get a tripod; that is the most useless thing that I have ever seen. The best part about that little tripod there is that it costs a mere $29.99.
There is a slew of random things that are coming the best by far is the 9 foot cable extension that costs $49.99. I don't know about you but cables don't cost that much to make. So I guess if you buy Kinect and for some reason your Xbox is 10 feet from your TV they want you to buy a $50 cable. Well I for one would just move my Xbox and Kinect closer but I don't think any one has that big of a gap between their TV, console, and Kinect.

Cargasm Announced
Candella Software and Saga Wonderworks have just announced their new upcoming game Cargasm. The game doesn't have any licensed cars, but what they do claim to have is the most realistic racing courses ever in a video game
They accomplish this by scanned all the courses for each area with lasers, which makes for all the buildings, streets, and anything else on the street accurate to within an inch or two. The listed sites that will be in the game so far are San Francisco, Yosemite National Park, London, Mount Kilmanjaro, Egypt, and Switzerland.
Cargasm will be available for PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, PSP, and iPhone. This is no release date set yet. More screenshots below.

PlayStation Move Accessories!
For as little of fun as it is to stand there and pretend to hit someone now you can do it in style with the new PlayStation Move ultimate boxing gloves. The Gloves feature a little pocket in each glove to secure the controller to make sure you don't go and start destroying TV's. They also went as far as to put Velcro straps on the wrists so you can't accidentally have gloves fly off your hands. These are made by CTA Digital.
As you can tell these gloves are still padded so in case that you still some how find a way to ruin your TV you can take your rage out on some near by person or small animal of your choosing.
CTA Digital also has this charger for your PS Move controllers. The dual port and quadruple charging ports can charge two to four move controllers.

Playstation Move Compared To The Others
Microsoft's Idea of a Price Chart
![]() |
Well according to Microsoft they have the cheapest motion controlled console, but whats with the Wii balance board being part of the price? You don't have to have that to play any of the really good games on the Wii. Also what if I just wanted to play single player and not buy the second controller, oh that's right, then that would actually make the Wii cheaper then the Xbox.
![]() |
But in reality I really don't care what it costs because I will not be buying Kinect or the PS3 Move I have a Wii and that rarely gets played as it is, and paying $150 to flail around in front of my TV is just plain dumb.
